My name is Nicolas Polisky

I was born in Buenos Aires in 1983. I attended primary school at Buenos Aires English High School and completed my secondary education at Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires. From a young age, I knew I wanted to become a doctor. I used to accompany Gustavo Polisky, a plastic surgeon (my father), during his hospital shifts, where I developed a strong interest in the operating room, patient care, and learning from his experience.

I studied Medicine at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and completed my ophthalmology training at Hospital Oftalmológico P. Lagleyze in Buenos Aires from 2010 to 2015. After finishing my residency, I worked from 2015 to 2020 as a surgical instructor for residents in cataract surgery and oculoplastic surgery, while also completing a two-year fellowship in the Oculoplastics Department alongside Dr. Hugo Altamirano and Dr. Monica Bolatti. I later joined the team as a staff physician and surgeon.

I further trained in refractive laser surgery at Instituto de la Visión with Dr. Tomas Jaeschke (2015–2020), working on and performing complex cases such as keratoconus and corneal transplants. Today, I continue to collaborate closely with my father, sharing cases and even operating together.

I currently coordinate the medical teams at my offices in Belgrano and Haedo. I am also Head of Ophthalmology and Ophthalmic Surgeon at Clínica DIM (Ramos Mejía/Morón) and Clínica de Planificación Familiar in Merlo. Since 2022, I have served as an ophthalmology expert witness for the judicial system, and since 2025, I have been the manager of the Centro de Cirugía Ocular in Avellaneda.

I speak English (C2 – Advanced), French (B2 – Upper Intermediate), and German (A2 – Intermediate).
