These lesions may appear as small nodules or irregularities on the eyelid skin, including persistent styes, chalazia, warts, moles, cysts, or ulcerated areas.
Although most eyelid tumors are benign, some may be malignant. For this reason, a specialized ophthalmologic evaluation is important and, in some cases, may be complemented by a biopsy to confirm the diagnosis.
When treatment is required, surgery allows the lesion to be removed and, if necessary, the eyelid to be reconstructed, preserving both eye function and aesthetic appearance.

Appearance of a persistent nodule or lesion on the eyelid
Progressive growth of a lesion in the periocular skin
Ulceration or changes in the eyelid surface
Lesions that do not resolve or recur over time
